Thanksbeing

by Starla J. King on November 27, 2013

“In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.”  ~ Elizabeth Gilbert

Surrender.

Feel the gratitude so deeply, so completely, that you become a “thank you”  — every breath, every thought, every laugh, every tear … yesterday, today, tomorrow, for the rest of your lifetime(s).

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.” ~ Thích Nhất Hạnh

Make every step, every touch, every movement an act of love … yesterday, today, tomorrow, for the rest of your lifetime(s).

“And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart:
Your seeds shall live in my body,
And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart,
And your fragrance shall be my breath,
And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons.”
~ Kahlil Gibran

Breathe into every connection a prayer of acknowledgement … yesterday, today, tomorrow, for the rest of your lifetime(s).

Surrender.

Give yourself to gratitude … yesterday, today, tomorrow, for the rest of your lifetime(s).
